45 Revolutions: The Aces

After the legendary UK street-punk/proto-Oi! band Menace broke-up in 1979, the remaining members (Steve Tannett, Charlie Casey, and Noel Martin) recorded two singles with American female vocalist Vermillion under the name Vermillion & The Aces. After the band were fired as Vermillion's backing band they continued under the name The Aces, releasing this absolutely stellar 45 in 1981. Post-Menace/Aces action included Tannett running I.R.S. Records with Miles Copeland, and Casey joining punk band, The Dark. Menace reformed in the recent years and still play the occasional show.
